Harry James Hedge

Harry James Hedge Sr., 90, of Shippensburg, entered into Gods eternal care on September 25, 2025, at Mercy House of Chambersburg. Born on August 16, 1935, in Six Mile Run, Pennsylvania, Harry lived a life rich in love, laughter, and cherished memories. Harry was preceded in death by his parents, Shannon Hedge and Grace (Everhart) Hedge; his first wife Goldie; and his daughter, Brenda Shearer.A hardworking man, Harry proudly served his county in the United States Army. He also made a mark in his community as a truck driver for PennDOT. Beyond his professional life, Harry embraced the beauty of the outdoors. He found joy in hunting and fishing. He also loved playing poker and spending quality time with his loving family.

Harry was a devoted family man, survived by his beloved wife, Alice Hedge. In addition to his wife, he is survived by 2 sons, Harry Hedge Jr. and Gary Hedge; two daughters-in-law, Kathy and Virginia Hedge; his 5 grandchildren, Amber Foltz, Heath Hedge, Derek Hedge, Shaun Hedge, and Tara Hedge; three great-grandchildren, Rylee Weaver, Sawyer Weaver, and Easton Hedge; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Professional services have been entrusted to Dugan Funeral & Cremation, Ltd., 51 Asper Drive in Shippensburg. At this time, services are at the discretion of the family.
