Harvey E. Hinkle

Harvey “Bud” E. Hinkle, age 56 of Carlisle, passed away Saturday, March 24, 2018 at his home. He was born Wednesday, April 12, 1961 in Hanover, the son of the late Zeal H. and Agnes S. (Wolf) Hinkle. Harvey graduated from Bermudian Spring High School in 1979. He was formerly employed by Knouse Foods in Peach Glen. He also drove mail truck with his father. He enjoyed watching NACSAR, going to sprint cars races and walking through Letort Park, feeding the ducks and geese along the way. He is survived by two sisters, Ruth E. Watts of York Springs, Louise Nauman of Carlisle, one brother, Zeal E. Hinkle of NC, many nieces and nephews, great-nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by one sister, Sandra Hinkle. Professional services are entrusted to Dugan Funeral Home, Inc., 111 S. Main Street, Bendersville. Funeral Services will be held at 1:00 PM on Saturday, March 31 at Dugan Funeral Home with Pastor Ed Roman officiating. Interment will be in Mt. Tabor Cemetery. A viewing will be held on Friday at the funeral home from 6:00 to 8:00 PM. Memorial contributions may be made to Parkinson's Association, 135 Parkinson Avenue, Staten Island, NY 10305 NY 10305.
