Hazel S. Guise

Hazel S. Guise, age 94 of Gardners, passed away on Saturday, April 18, 2015 at her home. She was born Tuesday, July 20, 1920 in Fairfield, the daughter of the late Luther C. and Victorine M. (Laroch) Sanders. She was employed by Rice Fruit Company for 24 years. She was a member of Biglerville American Legion Auxiliary and Blue Ridge Sportsman Auxiliary. She is survived by her husband, Robert E. Guise, two daughters, Barbara A.(Mike) Eksterowicz of Mt. Holly Springs, and Jody L. Guise, of Gardners, son, John Gaston of Blue Ridge Summit, two granddaughters, Amber Guise and Tosha Whinser, three great-grandchildren, Brandi Hockley, Hunter Hockley and Dominic Nesico and two brothers, Thomas and Fred Sanders, both of Fairfield. She was preceded in death by her parents, a daughter, Ann Wickert and three brothers, Russell, Calvin and William Sanders. Professional services are being handled by Dugan Funeral Home, Inc., 111 South Main Street, Bendersville. There are no services at this time. Memorial contributions may be made to the funeral home to help defray expenses.
