Helen A. Wirth

Helen A Wirth, 93, Gettysburg died Thursday, May 27, 2010 at Green Acres Nursing Home, Gettysburg.She was born Saturday, December 9, 1916 in Bendersville, daughter of late Jeremiah and Ada (Snyder) Black. Helen graduated from Biglerville High School,then attended business school in Harrisburg. Helen was formerly employed by the Credit Bureau of Gettysburg and later as a secretary for Oaklawn Memorial Gardens in Gettysburg. She was a member of Benders Lutheran Church in Biglerville. Her husband Hebert F. Wirth, Sr. died in 2006 She is survived by twosons: Herbert F. Wirth Jr. and William F. and wife Linda Wirth, both of Gettysburg; two grandchildren and three great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her sister Thelma Reynolds. Professional services are being handled by Dugan Funeral Home, Inc.,111 S. Main Street, Bendersville. Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 AM on Wednesday, June 2 at the Dugan Funeral Home, Bendersville with the Reverend Susan McCarthy officiating. Interment will be in Bendersville Cemetery. A viewing will be held on Wednesday from 10:00 AM until time of services.
