Helen M. Maley

Helen M. Maley, age 93 of Shippensburg, died Sunday, September23, 2012 at Shippensburg Healthcare Center. She was born Sunday, January 26,1919 in Shippensburg, the daughter of the late Frederick G. C. and Cora J. (Shaffer) Maley. She was employed as a seamstress by U-Wanna-Wash Frockfor many years. She also worked forseveral years at Beistle Company. Shewas a member of Our Lady of the Visitation Catholic Church. She is survived by one son: Freddie E. L. Maley and wife Eva, of Roxbury; one daughter, Martha L. Arrowood of Rochester, MN; three granddaughters: Jo Carryer of Rochester, MN, Lisa Fitzgerald of San Francisco, CA, and Tara Pynn of San Francisco; two great-granddaughters: Alissa and Megan Carryer of Rochester, MN, and one great-grandson, Cody Maley of Newburg. She was preceded in death by a grandson, Aaron F. Maley and two sisters: Verle Armstrong and Minerva Reed. Professional services are being handled by Dugan FuneralHome and Crematory, Inc., Shippensburg.Private graveside services in Spring Hill Cemetery will be held at theconvenience of the family with ReverendFather David Hillier officiating.
