Henry F. Wonders

Henry Franklin Wonders, age 56 of Chambersburg, passed away Wednesday, May 22, 2019 in Chambersburg. He was born June 15, 1962 in Hanover, PA, the son of Larry Franklin Wonders and Joan Rebecca (Davis) Stevens. Henry worked as a forklift operator for Warrior Roofing for 15 years. In his spare time, Henry enjoyed eating and watching Netflix, MASH and old time westerns. In addition to his parents, Henry is survived by his daughter, Melinda Sue Wonders of Gettysburg, son, Justin Michael Wonders of Mechanicsburg, sister, Brenda Valo and her husband, Joseph of Chambersburg, seven step-brothers and sisters, his companion of 14 years, Darlene Smith of Chambersburg, four grandchildren and several extended family members. He was preceded in death by his step-father, Gilbert Stevens and one step-brother. Professional services are entrusted to Dugan Funeral Home and Crematory, Inc., Shippensburg. A Public Viewing will take place on Wednesday, May 29 from 6:00 to 8:00 PM at Dugan Funeral Home and Crematory, 51 Asper Drive, Shippensburg, PA. All are welcome to attend. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Henry’s name to Cumberland Valley Animal Shelter, 5051 Letterkenny Road W, Chambersburg, PA 17201.
