Hilda S. Kuhn

Hilda S. Kuhn, age 86 of Aspers, passed away January 9, 2024 at Church of God Home, Carlisle. She was born April 21, 1937 in Gardners to the late Harry Smith, Sr. and Mary (Barbour) Doyle. Hilda was widowed by her husband, Freeman G. Kuhn, Sr.

Hilda worked for Pfaltzgraff and Continental Ceramics. She loved reading, baking, gardening and sitting on her side porch, drinking coffee. She also liked watching paranormal shows on TV.

She is survived by her son, Freeman G. Kuhn, Jr and wife, Lisa of Heidlersburg; daughter, Brenda S. Kuhn of Aspers; grandchildren, William Kuhn and wife, Shelly, Zachary Karczmarek and Jeneane Kuhn (Brianna); great-grandchildren, Tyler Kuhn and Scarlett Kuhn; brother, Jerry Smith of Aspers and sister, Beatrice Myers of Lakeland, FL. Hilda was preceded in death by her sons, Steven and Christopher Kuhn; grandson, Brian Kuhn; brothers, Harry Smith, Jr., Bruce Smith and Robert Smith and sister, Oriola “Betz” Showers. She was also preceded in death by her step-father, James Doyle.
