Hilda M. Mickey

Hilda M. Mickey, age 97, formerly of Biglerville, passed away Saturday, January 28, 2017 at Thornwald Home in Carlisle. She was born Wednesday, October 1, 1919 in Moorefield, WV, the daughter of the late Isaac and Agnes M. (Sindy) Kuykendall. Hilda was formerly employed by Upper Adams School District as a cafeteria worker in the Biglerville High School. Her husband Edward B. Mickey passed away in 1987. She is survived by two sons, Thomas J. and wife Lisa Mickey of Biglerville, James I. and wife Vickie Mickey of Waynesboro, four grandchildren, 10 great-grandchildren anddaughter-in-law, Loretta Mickey of Lancaster. She was preceded in death by a son, Perry E. Mickey, daughter, Patricia A. Mickey,grandson Daryl Mickey and her brothers and sisters. Professional services are entrusted to Dugan Funeral Home, Inc., 111 South Main Street, Bendersville. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM Sunday, February 5 at Centenary United Methodist Church, 99 N. Main Street, Biglerville with Reverend Gary Fanus officiating. Interment will be in Biglerville Cemetery. A viewing will be held at the church from 1:00 PM until time of services. Memorial contributions may be made to Centenary United Methodist Church, 99 N.
