Hilda R. Setters

Hilda R. Setters, age 81 of Aspers, passed away December 3, 2024 at home. She was born April 13, 1943 in Williamson, WV to the late George R. and Hilda M. (Canterbury) Layne. Hilda was the widow of John Setters. She was an avid bird watcher, especially hummingbirds and enjoyed shopping and spending time with her family.

She is survived by her daughters, Judy Laughman and husband, Lee of Chambersburg, Joy Brady of Aspers and Janet Short and husband, Dennis of Biglerville; 8 grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren and extended family; David Setters and wife, Liza, Mary Blocher and husband, Bob and Deb Diehl and husband, Terry. Hilda was preceded in death by her sons, John Jr. and Jonathan David Setters and daughters, Joanne Smith and Tashaunda Setters.
