Irene Elizabeth Mellott

Irene Elizabeth Mellott, 95, entered into God’s eternal care on Saturday, March 28, 2026 at her home with her loving daughter Linda by her side. Irene was a beloved mother, grandma and great grandma. Irene was the daughter of the late James Slusser and Zula (Day) Slusser. She enjoyed playing piano, singing, listening to cowboy music and watching Gunsmoke.

Irene is survived by two daughters, Linda Mellott and Judy Toner and her husband, Kenneth; three granddaughters, Ashley Moore, Kristi Jones, and Amanda Toner; four great-grandchildren, Amelia Moore, Logan Moore, Spencer Moore and Ryan Jones. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Walter R. Mellott; and one daughter, Bonnie L. Kime.

Professional services have been entrusted to Dugan Funeral & Cremation, Ltd., 111 S. Main Street in Bendersville. A funeral service will be held at 11:00 AM on Friday, April 3, 2026 at Dugan Funeral & Cremation, Ltd., 111 S. Main Street, Bendersville, PA 17306. Burial will follow at Biglerville Cemetery.
