Irma Brunk Ogburn, age 95, of Elmcroft Senior Living Center in Dillsburg, formerly of Biglerville, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, October 10 at Elmcroft of Dillsburg. She was born on December 15, 1921 in Denbigh, VA. She was the wife of the late Walter Ogburn who passed in 2009. Irma was a member of the Bethel Mennonite Church. She worked many years at the Gettysburg Shoe Factory and was the Adams County Chief Assessor for several years. She is survived by her beloved son, Wayne and his wife, Shirley of York Springs. She is also survived by three grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren, and four great-great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by two sisters, Marie and Emily, and a brother, Harold. The family wishes to give a special thank you to the Elmcroft Family and the Homeland Hospice Group for their special care. Professional services are entrusted to Dugan Funeral Home, Inc., Bendersville. Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 AM on Saturday, October 14, at Bethel Mennonite Church, Gettysburg with Pastor Robert Murr officiating. A viewing will be held one hour prior to service. Interment will be in Biglerville Cemetery. In lieu of flowers the family requests any donations be sent to Homeland Hospice, 2300 Vartan Way, Suite 270, Harrisburg, Pennsylvania 17110 or to Bethel Mennonite Church, 2235 Biglerville Road, Gettysburg, Pennsylvania 17325.
