Isabelle G. Halter

Isabelle G. Halter, age 83 of Walnut Bottom, passed away Sunday, January 22, 2017 at Shippensburg Healthcare Center. She was born Saturday, November 11, 1933 in Cumberland County, the daughter of the late William C. and Rhoda (Cramer) Vaughn. She was employed by Newville Shoe Factory from 1961 to 1976. She was a member of Ridge Church of the Brethren and helping hands Sunday School Class. She enjoyed cooking, cleaning and gospel music. She is survived by her husband of 65 years, Donald L Halter. She is also survived by two daughters, Judy L. Horn of Walnut Bottom, Barbara L. (Lloyd) Jones of Carlisle, four grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren, five great-great-grandchildren, three brothers, four sisters, and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by a son, Donald L. Halter, Jr., son-in-law Gary W. Horn, four brothers and four sisters. Professional services are entrusted to Dugan Funeral Home and Crematory, Inc., Shippensburg. Funeral services will be held Thursday, January 26 at 2:00 PM at Dugan Funeral Home and Crematory, 51 Asper Drive, Shippensburg with Reverend Clarence D. Stouffer officiating. A viewing will be held on Wednesday, January 25 from 6:00 - 8:00 PM at the funeral home. Interment will be in Spring Hill Cemetery.
