J. Blair Thomas

J. Blair Thomas, age 97 of Aspers, died Sunday, September 22, 2013 at Gettysburg Lutheran Home. He was born Monday, October 4, 1915 in MenallenTownship, Adams County, the son of the late Benjamin F. and Addie (Crum) Thomas. He was employed by Knouse Foods, Peach Glen for 40+ years and was a member of Foursquare Gospel Church in Gettysburg. His wife, Louise T. (Tice) Thomas died in May 2007. He is survived by his daughter, Gwili and husband Robert Taylor of Aspers, a son, Donald B. and wife Virginia Thomas of Gettysburg, five grandchildren, 19 great-grandchildren and six great-great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by a grandson, David B. Thomas and twelve siblings. Professional services are being handled by Dugan Funeral Home, Inc., 111 South Main Street, Bendersville. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM on Friday, September 27 at Dugan Funeral Home with Reverend Lloyd Fuss officiating. Interment will be in Oaklawn Memorial Gardens.
