James A. Frazier, age 84 of Aspers, died Thursday, August 23, 2012 atGettysburg Hospital. He was born Friday, November 11, 1927 in Bedford Co.,the son of the lateJohn B. and Carrie Ada (Claycomb) Frazier. James graduated from Biglerville High School in 1947. He was formerlyemployed by Remco in York as a machinist for many years.He was a lifelong farmer. He was a member of Carlisle Church of Christ. Jim loved totravel all over, especially the western United States. He served in the United States Army. His wife, Evelyn (Gunn) Frazier diedin 2008.He is survived by two daughters:Susan M. and husband Charles Goodrich of Aspers and Ruth Ann and husband Lawrence Keiserof New Oxford; two sons: Roger and wife Linda Frazier of Aspers, James A. and wife Kathy Frazier, Jr. of Albuquerque, NM;two sisters: Ruth Frazier of Aspers and Martha Holmes of Euless, TX; threebrothers:Paul Frazier and John Frazier both of Aspers, David Frazier of Hanover; 13 grandchildren, 6 great-grandchildren andone great-great-granddaughter. He waspreceded in death by his daughter, Janet J. Frazier. Professional services are being handled by Dugan Funeral Home, Inc., 111South Main Street, Bendersville. Funeral Services will be held at 10:30 AMTuesday, August 28, 2012 at the Carlisle Church of Christ, 971 Walnut BottomRoad, Carlisle with the Reverend Tony Tarole officiating. Interment will be inBiglerville Cemetery. A viewing will be held at Dugan Funeral Home,Bendersville on Monday, August 27 from 6:00 to 8:00PM and also at thechurch on Tuesday from 9:30 until time of services. Memorial contributions may be made to Carlisle Church of Christ, 970 Walnut Bottom Road, Carlisle, PA 17015.
