James W. Boone

James W. Boone, age 44 of Shippensburg,passed away Monday, December 19, 2011 at his home. He was born Wednesday, December 6, 1967 in Hanover, the son of James M. Boone, Jr. of Shippensburg and the late Eleanor R. (Formwalt) Boone. James graduated from Shippensburg High School in 1987. He was formerly employed by the Beistle Company for several years. He had also worked at Chambersburg Cold Storage, Jerr-Dan in Greencastle and Beidel Printing in Shippensburg. James loved to collect sports cards and watching the NFL as an avid John Elway Fan. He took great pleasure in attending his sons sporting events. He will be greatly missed by his two loving dogs, Copper and Buddy.He enjoyed both hunting and fishing. He is survived by his wife, Vickie L. (Bennett) Boone to whom he was married for 20 years. He is also survived by two sons: Derek B. Boone and Ryan M. Boone both of Shippensburg; a sister, Pamela Zeigler of Shippensburg; three brothers: Michael D. Boone ofHellam, John M. Boone of Hanover and Gregory S. Boone of Harrisburg. Professional services are being handled by Dugan Funeral Home and Crematory, Inc. Memorial Services will be held at 3:00 PM on Thursday, December 22 at Dugan Funeral Home and Crematory, 51 Asper Drive, Shippensburg with Reverend James O. Bolich, Jr. officiating. A visitation will be held from 1:00 PMuntil time of services. A reception with light refreshments and fellowship will follow the services at Prince Street United Brethren Church, 20 North Prince Street, Shippensburg.
