Jane C. Martin

Jane C. Martin, age 85 of Fayetteville, formerly of Gardners, died Thursday, August 9, 2012 at Village of Laurel Run, Fayetteville. She was born Sunday, August 15, 1926 in Cashtown the daughter of the late Joseph and Gladys (Plank) Currens. Jane graduated from Arendtsville Vocational School in 1945. She was formerly employed by the U.S. Government working in Philadelphia most of her career. She is survived by her brother, Jay and wife Darlene Currens of Gardners as well as several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by a sister, Carolyn Hinkle and a brother, Gervus Currens. Professional services are being handled by Dugan Funeral Home, Inc., 111 South Main Street, Bendersville. Funeral Services will be held Monday, August 13th at 10:00 AM at Dugan Funeral Home with Reverend Ken Reid officiating. Interment will be in Flohr's Church Cemetery. A viewing will be held Monday from 9:00 AM until time of services.
