Janel L. Baugher

Janel L. Baugher, age 32 of Aspers, passed away Wednesday, August 7, 2013 at her home with her family by her side. She was born Friday, February 27, 1981 in Carlisle, the daughter of John H. and Joan M. (Smith) Baugher, Jr. of Aspers. Janel graduated from Biglerville High School in 1999 and attended Penn State Altoona for two years. She obtained her paralegal degree at CLN in Mechanicsburg. She was employed by Adams County Nursery as a sales rep for 4 years. She was a member of St. Paul's Lutheran Church in Biglerville, Adams County Fruit Growers Association, the Young Grower Alliance andthe PennsylvaniaState Horticulture Association. Janel was very active in raising funds for Making Strides Against Breast Cancer. In addition to her parents, she is also survived by two sisters, Jennifer R. Baugher Snavely and Julie A. Kashi, both of Aspers; maternal grandparents Charles W. and Florence N. Smith of Gettysburg and John H. and Nadine J. Baugher, Sr. of Aspers, a niece, Natalie Kashi and nephew Miles Kashi, both of Aspers. Professional services are being handled by Dugan Funeral Home, Inc., 111 South Main Street, Bendersville. A Celebration of Janel's Life will take place at 2:00 PM on Monday, August 12 at St. Paul's Lutheran Church, 25 Franklin Street, Biglerville with Reveren Robert S. McEllroy III officiating.
