Janet E. Guise

Janet E. Guise, age 95 of York Springs, passed away Wednesday, July 25, 2018 at UPMC Carlisle. She was born Friday, November 24, 1922 in Aspers, the daughter of the late Paul and Beatrice (Pittenturf) Asper. Janet was formerly employed by Naval Supply Depot, Mechanicsburg for 35 years. She was a member of York Springs United Methodist Church, and Red Hats. Her husband Gilbert R. Guise passed in 1964. She is survived by her grandson, Barry R. and wife Beverly "Trish" Guise of Gardners, great-granddaughter, Erika Guise of Aspers and daughter-in-law, Patricia M. Guise of Fort Myers, FL. She was preceded in death by her son, Barry L. Guise, who passed away in September 2017. Professional services are entrusted to Dugan Funeral Home, Inc., 111 South Main Street, Bendersville. Funeral Services will be held at 10:00 AM Saturday, August 4, 2018 at Dugan Funeral Home, Bendersville with Reverend Trisha Guise officiating. A visitation will be held at the funeral home from 9:00 AM until time of services. Interment will be in Sunnyside Cemetery, York Springs.
