Janet H. Carbaugh

Janet H. Carbaugh, age 91 of Shippensburg, died Monday, December 2, 2013 at Chambersburg Hospital. She was born Thursday, July 13, 1922 in Shippensburg, the daughter of the late Paul and Mary "Mamie" H. (Warren) Henry. Janet was formerly employed by Beistle Company for 26 years. She was a member of Prince Street United Brethren in Christ Church in Shippensburg. She was also a member of Roxbury United Methodist Church for 50 years where she had served as a Sunday School Teacher for many years. She is survived by two daughters: Melissa A. Heberlig of Hagerstown and Sherry B. Carbaugh of Chambersburg; two granddaughters: Kristie Solomon of Ft. Mill, SC, Elizabeth Swartz of Newville, and one grandson, Ashley Heberlig of Shippensburg, twelve great grandchildren; two sisters: Betty Piper of Newburg, Jean White of New Bern, NC; three brothers: Edgar Henry of Newville, Carl Henry of Upper Strasburg and Richard Henry of Newburg. She was preceded in death by two sisters: Dorothy Henry, Mary Helm and a brother, Paul Henry. Professional services have been entrusted to Dugan Funeral Home and Crematory, Inc., 51 Asper Drive, Shippensburg. Funeral Services will be held at 2:00 PM on Friday, December 6 at Dugan Funeral Home and Crematory with Reverend Dr. W. James White and Reverend James Bolich officiating. Interment will be in Middle Spring Church Cemetery. A visitation will be held at the funeral home on Friday from 12:30 PM until time of services.
