Janet L. Nenninger

Janet L. Nenninger, age 93, of Shippensburg, passed away July 28, 2024 at home. She was born July 18, 1931 in Letterkenny to the late Paul and Cora M. (Lightner) Rosenberry. Janet was widowed by her husband, Harold G. Nenninger in 2020.

Janet attended Friendship Baptist Church near Stoughstown. She enjoyed needle work, cooking for her kids and having a clean house. Janet loved watching Wheel of Fortune and Jeopardy, keeping her yard and flowerbeds weed free and picking up the walnuts and branches from the yard.

She is survived by her children, Gary O. Nenninger of Shippensburg, Randall G. Nenninger and wife, Betty J. of Newburg, Donna A. and husband, Michael Goshorn of Dry Run and Brian L. Nenninger of Newville, grandchildren; Channing L. Nenninger, Randall G. Nenninger, Daniel G. Nenninger, Ashlee M. Misner and Emilee S. Stahl. Janet is also survived by great-grandchildren, great-great-grandchildren and a brother, Harold Rosenberry and wife, Caroline of St. Thomas. Janet was preceded in death by her sister, Marie Kendall and brothers, Nelson Rosenberry and Glenn Rosenberry.

Professional services have been entrusted to Dugan Funeral Home and Crematory, Inc., 51 Asper Drive, Shippensburg. At the request of the family, there will be no viewing. Friends are invited to a graveside memorial service at 10:00 AM on Tuesday, August 6, 2024 at Parklawns Memorial Gardens and Mausoleum. Janet’s nephew, Rev.
