Jean W. Butler, age 92 of Aspers, passed away Tuesday, November 29, 2016 at Transitions HealthCare in Gettysburg. She was born Wednesday, February 6, 1924 in Menallen Twp. Adams Co., the daughter of the late Clayton, Sr.and Edna M. (Kane) Warren. Jean was formerly employed by Knouse Foods in Peach Glenfor many years. She was a member of Wenksville United Methodist Church. Her husband Clarence C. Butler passed July 15, 2003. She is survived by sons, Larry E. Butler of Aspers, David L. and wife Joyce Butler of Cheyenne, WY, two granddaughters, Scarlett and husband John Schappell of Collegeville, Michelle and husband Ronald Showaker of Biglerville, four great-granddaughters, Catherine and Julia Schappell, Paige and Natalie Showaker, a sister, Tillie Wagaman of Aspers, and a brother, Frederick (Cot) Warren of Biglerville. She was preceded in death by nine sisters, Wilda Baker, Eva Taylor, Nora Kuhn, Myrtle Taylor, Nellie Showers, Ann Beamer, Cleo Helm, Ruby Heller Margie Warren and two brothers, Edgar Warren and Clayton Warren, Jr. Professional services are entrusted to Dugan Funeral Home, Inc., 111 South Main Street, Bendersville. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM Tuesday, December 6 at Dugan Funeral Home with Reverend Rick Robinson officiating. Interment will be in Wenksville Cemetery. A viewing will be held on Tuesday from 9:30 AM until time of services. Memorial contributions may be made to Wenksville United Methodist Church,2010 Wenksville Road,Biglerville, PA. 17307.
