Jean M. Horick

Jean M. Horick, age 87 of Fayetteville, formerly of Aspers, passed away Tuesday, March 10, 2015 at Village of Laurel Run. She was born Sunday, October 16, 1927 in Bendersville, the daughter of the late Lloyd W. and Mary (Garretson) Kuhn. Jean graduated from Biglerville High School. She and her husband Justin owned and operated their family fruit farm in Aspers and Clearview Garden Center in Hanover for many years. She was a member of Bethlehem Lutheran Church in Bendersville. Her husband, Justin J. Horick passed in 2003. She is survived by a daughter, Linda K. and husband Tom Ritter of Arendtsville, two sons, David J. Horick of Gardners, Douglas C. Horick of Aspers and two grandchildren, Molly and Katie Ritter. She was preceded in death by her sister Joyce Swope and brother Ronald Kuhn. Professional services are being handled by Dugan Funeral Home, Inc., 111 South Main Street, Bendersville. Funeral Services will be held at 10:00 AM Friday, March 13 at Dugan Funeral Home with Reverend Martin Young officiating. Interment will be in Bendersville Cemetery. A viewing will be held at the funeral home on Friday from 9:00 to 10:00 AM. Memorial contributions may be made to Bethlehem Lutheran Church, P.O.
