Jean E. Porter, age 91, passed away Monday, December 17, 2018 at Manor Care Nursing and Rehab, Chambersburg. She was born Sunday, August 21, 1927 in Chambersburg, the daughter of the late Harold and Hazel (Mowers) Hammond. Before her retirement, Jean worked for Knouse Foods in Chambersburg. She is survived by her loving niece, Karen Johnson and husband of Shippensburg and other extended family. She was preceded in death by her husband, George Porter and her two sisters. Professional services are entrusted to Dugan Funeral Home and Crematory, Inc., Shippensburg.
