Jean W. Taylor

Jean W. Taylor, age 95 of Aspers, passed away October 11, 2023 at Chapel Pointe at Carlisle. She was born July 20, 1928 in Menallen Township to the late John B. and Helen R. (Taylor) Wenk. She was widowed by her husband of 71 years, Junior E. Taylor in 2018. Jean was a member of Wenksville United Methodist Church. She retired from Adams County Children and Youth Services after many years as a caseworker.

She is survived by her children; Fay M. McCleaf and husband, Barry of Aspers, Gary B. Taylor and wife, Kay of New Wilmington and Doug R. Taylor and wife, Jenny of Mechanicsburg; 6 grandchildren and 9 great-grandchildren. Jean was preceded in death by her brother, Kenneth Wenk. and sister-in-law, Helen Wenk.

Professional services have been entrusted to Dugan Funeral Home, Inc., 111 S. Main Street, Bendersville, where a viewing will be held from 10am until time of funeral service at 11am on Tuesday, October 17, 2023. Rev. Terry Brosius will officiate the funeral service. Jean will be laid to rest beside her husband at Wenksville Cemetery.
