Jeanne L. Baker

Jeanne Louise (Brown) Baker Born December 28th, 1942 - Died December 10th 2012 at age 69. She was born Monday, December 28, 1942 in Chambersburg, the daughter of the late William Blaine and Dorothy Jane (Wise) Brown. She attended Shippensburg Area High School and graduated in 1960. She was preceded in death in 1980, by her one and only son, Todd Stewart Baker, and her husband of 46 years, Rodney G. Baker who died in 2009. Jeanne had been active in the past, in both the VFW and American Legion auxiliaries. he previously worked at the former Hoffman Mills, in Shippensburg, and briefly at Giant Market in Shippensburg. She is survived by two brothers;Richard L. Brown and wife Wanda, and William D. Brown and wife Grace, both of Shippensburg, and many nieces and nephews. Interment will be at Spring Hill cemetery, with her son, in a private family ceremony. In lieu of flowers, donations to the American Cancer Society, 384 Floral Avenue, Chambersburg, PA 17201 or the Better Days Animal League, 12310 Mongul Hill Road, Shippensburg, PA 17257 in her name would be appreciated.
