Jeannette L. Kime

Jeannette L. Kime, age 64 of Gettysburg, formerly of Bendersville, passed away December 18, 2023 at Gettysburg Hospital. She was born June 14, 1959 in Camp Hill to the late Kenneth Stahler and Barbara Guarino.

Jeannette was the secretary for Kime Cider Mill. She was a member of Bendersville Lutheran Church, where she taught Sunday School for many years and was on church council. She was a member of the American Legion Post 262, loved reading and writing poetry. Jeannette loved her family, friends and life. She also loved playing Candy Crush, her dog, Zoey, watching her Eagles play and Days of Our Lives.

Jeannette is survived by her loving husband, Ricky E. Kime of Gettysburg; son, Clifton L. Kime of Biglerville; daughter, Christy M. Holmes and husband, Dennis of Biglerville; grandsons, Caden Althoff and Cage Althoff and his girlfriend, Natalie Hall and her son, Cooper; step-grandchildren, Natalie and Taylor Holmes; brother, Kenny Stahler and wife, Shirley of Dillsburg and sister, Diana Peters and companion, Jeff Manweiler of Wenksville. She is also survived by her step-father, Joe Guarino of York Springs. Jeannette was preceded in death by her twin sister, Annette Stahler and sister, Linda Joy.

Professional services have been entrusted to Dugan Funeral Home, Inc., 111 S. Main Street, Bendersville, where a Celebration of Life will be held on Friday, December 22, 2023 at 8:00PM. Reverend Susan Scott will officiate. A viewing will be held from 6:00PM until time of service.
