Jessie Lee Taylor, age 82 of Aspers, passed away November 10, 2025 at home. He was born November 21, 1942 on a small farm in Menallen Township, near Wenksville, to the late Ralph E. and Sarah C. (Black) Taylor.

Jessie graduated from Biglerville High School in 1960 and joined the Army National Guard, where he served from 1960 to 1965. He started working at Osborn Printing Company in 1961 and worked there until 2000, when the company closed. After that, he worked for Minuteman Press in Hanover. He was a member of Wenksville United Methodist Church and was active in various church jobs over the years. Jessie taught Young Adults class for 20 years and was Sunday School Superintendent for 20 years. He enjoyed traveling, antiquing, flower gardens and volunteering at the Apple Harvest as an honorary member of the Upper Adams Jaycees. Jessie also enjoyed egg making at the church and deer hunting and was a member of the Biglerville American Legion.

He is survived by his wife, Carolyn M. (Taylor) Taylor; sons, David H. Taylor, Jeffrey L. Taylor and Gregory R. Taylor and wife, Mary and these siblings, Freddy W. Taylor, Mary Lou A. Shultz and husband, Sam, Ruth M. Brandt, Linda E. McCleaf and husband, Bill, Roger C. Taylor and Clyde R. Taylor. He is also survived by sisters-in-law, Jenny Taylor, Donna Taylor, Barb Taylor and Deb Taylor. Jessie was preceded in death by these siblings, Marvel C. Butler, Eugene E. Taylor, David A. Taylor, Guy W. Taylor, Earl J. Taylor and Randy R. Taylor.

Professional services have been entrusted to Dugan Funeral & Cremation, Ltd., 111 S. Main Street Bendersville, where funeral service will be held at 11:00am on Friday, November 14, 2025. A visitation will take place from 10:00am until time of funeral. Jessie will be laid to rest at Wenksville Cemetery.
