Jesus Manuel Gonzalez-Rodriguez

Jesus Manuel Gonzalez-Rodriguez, age 74, of Shippensburg, passed away on Tuesday, December 6, 2022 at Chambersburg Hospital. He was born on May 1, 1948 in Carolina, Puerto Rico, as the son of the late Jesus Gonzalez-Rohena and Ignacia Rodriguez Del Valle.

Jesus was a member of Mt. Rock Church in Shippensburg. In his spare time, he enjoyed going to church on Sundays, driving and spending time with family.

Jesus is survived his daughter, Ivelisse Gonzalez-Baez; three sons, Angel Omar Osorio-Gonzalez, Morgan Manuel Paz-Gonzalez and Alexander Paz-Gonzalez; five grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his loving wife, Hortencia Baez-Baez, who passed away Sunday, February 27, 2022 and two children, Salili Gonzalez-Baez and Jesus Daniel Gonzalez-Baez.

Professional services are entrusted to Dugan Funeral Home and Crematory, Inc., Shippensburg. Funeral Services will be held on Saturday, December 10 at 1:00 PM at Mt. Rock Church, 22 Mt. Rock Road, Shippensburg, PA 17257, with Pastor Federico Laureano officiating. A Public Viewing will take place prior to the service from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the church. Interment will follow in Mt. Rock Cemetery.
