John A. Frietas

John A. Frietas, age 59 of Pleasant Hall, died Sunday, August 12, 2012 at Chambersburg Hospital. He was born Thursday, July 30, 1953 in Brockton, MA, the son of the late John G. and Florence B. (LaBelle) Frietas. John graduated from North High School of Stoughton MA. He was employed by F M Trust for 16 years in the maintainance division. John was a very devoted husband, father and grandfather. He served in the Navy during the Vietnam War . He is survived by his wife of 37 years, Donna M. (Richards) Frietas and two daughters: Heather L. and husband Douglas Stouffer of Chambersburg, Jessica A. and husband David Lynch of Martinsburg, WV; two sisters: Florence Andrews of Braintree, MA and June Wirzburger of Taunton, MA and three grandchildren. He was preceded in death by sisters Reecee Livigne and Rita Hall. Professional services are being handled by Dugan Funeral Home and Crematory, Inc., Shippensburg. A visitation will be held at Dugan Funeral Home and Crematory, Inc., 51 Asper Drive, Shippensburg on Monday August 20 from 6:00 to 8:00 PM. All are welcome.
