John D. Frazier

John D. Frazier, age 84 of Gettysburg, formerly of Aspers, died Sunday, June 8, 2014 at Golden Living. He was born Monday, June 2, 1930 in Hyndman, the son of the late John B. and Carrie Ada (Claycomb) Frazier. John was a lifelong farmer and truck driver working with his brother and sister on the family farm. He was a member of Heidlersburg United Brethren in Christ Church. He is survived by two sisters, Ruth Frazier of Aspers, Martha Holmes of Euless, TX; two brothers, Paul R. Frazier of Aspers, David L. Frazier of Hanover and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his brother, James Frazier and two step-sisters, Lucille McCreary and Ethel Burdett. Professional services are entrusted to Dugan Funeral Home, Inc., 111 South Main Street, Bendersville. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM on Friday, June 13 at Heidlersburg United Brethren in Christ Church, 2763 Heidlersburg Road, Gettysburg with Reverend Craig Loewen officiating. Interment will be in Biglerville Cemetery. A viewing will be held at the church on Thursday June 12 from 6:00 to 8:00 PM.
