John "Jack" R. Faust

John "Jack" Reed Faust, age 53 of Chambersburg, PA, passed away Tuesday, September 16, 2014 at the York Hospital. He was born Wednesday, June 28, 1961 in Chambersburg, the son of Richard H. and Susan (Murphy) Faust. John owned and operated an auto repair shop in Chambersburg. He was an avid sports fan, coached softball, and was a diehard Cincinnati Bengals and Cincinnati Reds fan. John loved to help people and didn't expect anything in return, even after his death he still helped people by donating his organs. He loved to attend concerts and loved music. He was a wonderful father, son, brother, friend and will be sorely missed. He is survived by his daughter, Valerie F. Faust, and his son, Shane R. Faust both of Chambersburg, sister Karen (wife of Anthony) Horton of Fayetteville, brother Richard H. Faust, Jr. of Chambersburg, companion Trudy Cooley of Chambersburg, and nieces and nephews. Professional services are being handled by Dugan Funeral Home and Crematory Inc., 51 Asper Drive, Shippensburg. A memorial service will be held Friday September 19, 2014 at 5:00 PM at Chambersburg First Church of God, 2230 Grand Point Road, Chambersburg, PA 17202. The family will receive friends from 4:00 until the time of the service.
