John Paul Penney

John Paul Penney, age 58 of Biglerville, passed away November 30, 2025 at Johns Hopkins Hospital, Baltimore. He was born August 15, 1967 in Fort Lewis, WA to Arleen F. (Scannell) Penney of Killeen, TX and the late, Willard Penney.

John was a Master Sergeant in the US Army, having served in Desert Shield and Desert Storm, was a member of Trinity Christian Fellowship, was very proud of his boys and loved helping on the family farm.

He is survived by his wife of 30 years, Brynn A. (McCleary) Penney; sons, Brendan W. Penney and fiancé, Becca Wendowski of Biglerville and Johnathan W. Penney of Biglerville and companion, Kenzie Grimard of Purcellville, VA; brother, Robert Penney and wife, Rhonda Armstrong-Penney of Killeen, TX and 7 cats.

Professional services have been entrusted to Dugan Funeral & Cremation, Ltd., 111 S. Main Street, Bendersville. At John’s request, there will be no viewing. A celebration of life will be held at a later date.
