John A. Shea

John Allen Shea, age 74, of Shippensburg, passed away Wednesday, June 22, 2022 at Chambersburg Hospital. He was born February 3, 1949 in Philadelphia, the son of the late Charles E. and Dorothy (Epler) Shea. John was a graduate of Shippensburg University and served in the US Air Force. He worked for over 20 years as a therapeutic staff support specialist, and more recently worked with disabled children as a classroom assistant. He was a member of the Oasis of Love Church and enjoyed athletics, coaching and church youth groups. John is survived by his siblings, Kathy Shea of Philadelphia, Charles Shea of Philadelphia, Carol Beecher of York and Peggy Sabato of Holley Springs, NC. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his siblings, Naomi Shea, Thomas Shea, Barbara Kotwicki and Ruth Winning. Professional services have been entrusted to Dugan Funeral Home and Crematory, Inc., Shippensburg.
