John L. Stine, Sr.

John L. Stine, Sr., age 67 of Saint Thomas, passed away on Monday, June 11, 2018 at his home surrounded by his loving family. He was born Friday, June 23, 1950 in Waynesboro, a child of the late Omar Edward and Clara Mae (Tritle) Stine. He worked at Manitowoc Crane Group and retired after 30 years. John was an avid buyer and seller of cars. He loved making deals and trading them. He was a loving husband, father and grandfather. He is survived by his wife of 14 years, Linda (Arndt) Stine, son, John L. Stine, Jr. (Bobbie) of Chambersburg, step-sons, Matthew Stine (Angela) of Mercersburg and Cory Stine (Amy) of Saint Thomas, grandchildren, Abigail, Aidan, Blake, Connor and Presley Stine. He is preceded in death by his brothers, Omar “Sonny” and Bobby Stine and sister, Rosie Miller. Professional services are entrusted to Dugan Funeral Home and Crematory, Inc., Shippensburg. Services will be held at the discretion of the family.
