John Paul Thompson

John Paul Thompson, age 70 of Shippensburg, passed away December 18, 2025 at UPMC Carlisle. He was born July 24, 1955 in Peoria, IL to the late Paul and Johanne (McKinney) Thompson. John was a member of Oasis of Love Church and enjoyed playing chess, watching movies including Lord of the Rings and reading.

He is survived by his daughter, Erica Thompson of Shippensburg; son, Joshua Thompson and wife, Melinda of Shippensburg; grandchildren, Kaitlyn Thompson and Landon Thompson; brother, Nathan Thompson and wife, Kristen of Pittsburgh; sisters, Amy Thompson of Shippensburg and Rebecca Thompson of Shippensburg and aunt, Rachel McKinney of Shippensburg.
