Joseph B. Byers

Joseph B. Byers, age 55 of Aspers, passed away Saturday, February 3, 2018 at his home. He was born Saturday, June 30, 1962 in Lancaster, the son of the late Robert F. and Dolores V. (Welk) Byers. Joseph graduated from Penn Manor High School in 1981. He was currently employed by Golden Rentals in Dillsburg. He was formerly employed by Susquehanna Pfaltzgraff as estate manager for 23 years. He attended Grace Bible Chapel in Gardners. Joseph was an avid hunter and fisherman. He enjoyed woodworking, working outdoors, and spending time with his family. He is survived by his wife of 24 years, Carol M. (Davis) Byers. He is also survived by two daughters, Sarah M. Byers, Jessica M. Byers, two sons, Brandon C. Byers, Ethan J. Byers, all of Aspers, one sister: Loraine Brenchley of New Providence and three brothers, Robert Byers of Kentucky, Larry Byers of Lancaster, and Brian Byers of Florida. He was preceded in death by his sister Diane Wallace. Professional services are entrusted to Dugan Funeral Home, Inc., 111 South Main St., Bendersville. Memorial services will be held at 1:00 PM Thursday, February 8, at Grace Bible Chapel, 5575 Oxford Road, Gardners with Reverend Matt Jury officiating.
