Joseph B. Fisher

Joseph B. Fisher, age 78, of Newburg, died at his home Sunday, May 27, 2018 at 6:30 AM in Newburg. He was born Saturday, April 27, 1940 in Lancaster Co., the son of the late Elam S. and Florence G. Fisher. Joseph was a cabinet maker at Oak Bend Cabinet Shop in Newburg. He was a member of the Old Order Amish Church. He is survived by his wife, Mary (King) Fisher. He is also survived by: three daughters: Emma Mae and husband David Byler, Marion Ann and husband Ben Byler, Florence Irene and husband Aquilla Blank, three sons, Samuel Jay and wife Rebecca (Chupp) Fisher, Daniel K. and wife Ruthie (Stoltzfus) Fisher, Mervin K. and wife Lavina (Stoltzfus) Fisher, 30 grandchildren, 14 great-grandchildren, four brothers, William of Sacramento, Gideon of Newburg, LeRoy of Quarryville and Sylvan of Hutchinson, KS. Funeral Services will be held at 9:00 AM Eastern Standard Time, on Tuesday, May 29, 2018 at the Fisher Residence, 49 Oak Bend Road, Newburg. Interment will be in Blue Mountain Amish Cemetery. Visitation will be held at the home until time of services. Dugan Funeral Home and Crematory, Inc. Shippensburg is assisting the family with services.
