Joseph "JJ" R. Jones Jr.

Joseph R. Jones Jr., "JJ", age 70, of South Mountain, Pennsylvania, passed away peacefully on December 10, 2025. Born on June 15, 1955, in Lancaster, Pennsylvania. He was the son of the late Joseph R. Jones, Mattie Geneva (Brown) Jones. JJ loved to play drums and make people laugh.

JJ is survived by one daughter, Latonya Dixon of Binghamton, NY; and one nephew, Anthony Jones of Columbia, PA. His grandchildren and great grand babies loved him very much and he will be missed dearly.

Professional services have been entrusted to Dugan Funeral & Cremation, Ltd., 51 Asper Drive in Shippensburg. At this time, services are at the discretion of the family.
