Josephine Ruth (McNair) Cline, age 85 of Gardners, passed away January 26, 2025 at Transitions Health Care, Gettysburg. She was born May 7, 1939 in Silver Spring Township, Cumberland County to the late William and Mary (Roth) McNair. Josephine was the widow of Curtis L. Cline who passed away August 8, 2024. They were married for 62 years.
Josephine attended Mt Holly Springs Church of God, loved taking care of her home and property and loved the mountain behind her house, where she could watch the deer and nature. She was a great pie baker and loved gardening and her flowers. She also enjoyed dirt track racing every weekend, and together, with her husband, they toured the entire East Coast and Canada on their motorcycle. She was very proud and fond of his grandkids and great-grandkids and loved his church and church family.
Josephine is survived by her daughters; Diane Rider and husband, Doug of Biglerville, Debra Taylor and husband, Bob of Aspers and Lisa Myers and husband, Greg of Newville; grandchildren, Mary and Aaron Rider, Rae Stup and husband, Joel and Adam and Lydia Myers and great-grandchildren, Jackson and Bennett Taylor and Ellie, Hayden and Cora Stup. She is also survived by her siblings, Almeda Peterson and husband, Walter of Camp Hill, Kathryn Smith and husband, Phil of York, Lee McNair and wife, Lucy of Boiling Springs, Mary Ellen Keller of Carlisle and Steven McNair of Hershey. She was preceded in death by her grandson, Ben Taylor and these siblings, Samuel McNair, William McNair, Jr., Nancy Ellwein and Alyce Heller.
Professional services have been entrusted to Dugan Funeral Home, Inc., 111 S. Main Street, Bendersville. At Josephine’s request, there will be no viewing. Friends are invited to a Memorial Service at Mt. Holly Springs Church of God, 602 McLand Drive, Mt. Holly Springs, PA 17065 on Saturday, March 8, 2025 at 11:00 AM. Reverend Dan Murray will officiate the service. A Visitation will be held from 10:00 am until time of service. Burial will be at the convenience of the Family
