Joyce A. Freeman

Joyce A. Freeman, “Aunt J”, age 66, of Shippensburg, passed away Monday, June 22, 2020 surrounded by her family at home. She was born November 27, 1953 in Waynesboro, VA, the daughter of the late Harry H. and Marion J. (Massie) Harris. Joyce worked as a warehouse associate at DANA Corporation in Carlisle for over 15 years. In her spare time, Joyce enjoyed drawing, gardening and spending time with her grandkids. Joyce is survived by her loving husband of 48 years, Fred L. Freeman, Sr.; daughter, J. Ann Metzger (Ronald) of Carlisle; son, Fred L. Freeman, Jr., (Ashley) Granville, PA; eleven grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her two sisters, Wanda Raudabaugh and Brenda Smith and her brother, Samuel Harris. Professional services are entrusted to Dugan Funeral Home and Crematory, Inc., Shippensburg. Memorial Services are at the discretion of the family.
