Judith Ann Christie, age 81 of Shippensburg, passed away on Thursday, February 22, 2018 at Carlisle Regional Medical Center. She was born Friday, June 5, 1936 in Carlisle, the child of the late Charles Harry and Eva Sally (Daihl) Crisp. She was a graduate of New Cumberland High School in 1954. She was a life time member of the American Legion Post #223 and VFW Post #6168. She was a proud member of the West Shore Sportsman Women’s Rifle Team. She was a loving wife, mother and grandmother who loved cooking and caring for her family. She is survived by her son, Craig Christie of Shippensburg, grandchildren, Lorelei Stoner, Angel Zeigler Moser and Herbert Benjamin Lindsey, and numerous great-grandchildren. She is also survived by her brother, Charles Crisp III of Carlisle and sister, Orpha Jean Hare of Camp Hill and three nieces. She was preceded in death by her husband, David B. Christie, son, David C. Christie and great-grandson, Jeremiah Lindsey. Professional services are entrusted to Dugan Funeral Home and Crematory, Inc., Shippensburg. According to Judith’s wishes, all those who attend the memorial services are to dress casual. Memorial services will be held at 11:00 AM on Saturday March 3 at Dugan Funeral Home and Crematory, 51 Asper Drive, Shippensburg with Reverend Marlin “Butch” Neil officiating. Visitation will be held from 10:00 AM until time of services at the funeral home. Interment will be held privately at the Fort Indiantown Gap National Cemetery in Annville at a later date. In lieu of floral contributions, memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society, 384 Floral Avenue, Chambersburg, PA 17201 or www.cancer.org.
