Judy L. (Bard) Rinehart, 78, of Biglerville, passed away August 16, 2026 at Paramount Senior Living, Fayetteville. She was born March 2, 1948 in Chambersburg to the late Mabel E. (McKelvey) and Mervile L. Bard. Judy was widowed by her husband of 33 years, Daryl A. Rinehart, whom she married on April 3, 1993.
Judy graduated from Gettysburg High School in 1966 and retired from the PA Public Utilities Commission in February of 2012. She attended Wenksville United Methodist Church.
She is survived by two sons, Robert L. Taylor of Biglerville and William G. Taylor of Biglerville; daughter, Andrea C. Taylor of Biglerville; granddaughters, Courtney and Mikayla Taylor; grandsons, Gavin Taylor and Liam Avery; great-granddaughter, Delilah Griest; step-daughter, Tracey Willet of Littlestown; step-son, Travis Rinehart and wife, Nicole of Georgia; step-granddaughter, Morgan Willet and step-grandson, Paxton Rinehart. Judy is also survived by her sisters, Mrs. Jim (Helen) Cole of Biglerville, Beverly Davenport of Gettysburg and Lori Showers of Aspers and brother, Lee Bard and wife, Connie of Aspers. She was preceded in death by her brother, Bernard E. Bard and sister, Kristine Martin.
Professional services have been entrusted to Dugan Funeral & Cremation, Ltd., 111 S. Main Street, Bendersville. At Judy’s request, there will be no viewing. A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date, at the convenience of the family.
