Kathryn G. Winters

Kathryn G. Winters, age 61 of Shippensburg, passed Sunday, July 29, 2012 at Village of Laurel Run in Fayetteville. She was born Saturday, July 14, 1951 in Laurel, MD, the daughter of the late Robert and Marie E. (Hunsucker) Killian. Kathryn graduated from Shippensburg High School in 1969. She attended Shippensburg State College. She was employed by Orrstown Bank for the last nine months. She retired from MT Bank after 34 years of service in corporate training and development. She enjoyed spending time with her friends and family, especially her grandchildren. She is survived by her husband, William R. Winters to whom she was married for 40 years. She is also survived by her daughter: Kristina M. and husband David Hock of Chambersburg; two sons: Michael C. and wife Kristin Winters of Centerville, GA and Adam R. and wife Ashley Winters of Shippensburg; four grandchildren: Joshua M. Winters, Seth C. Winters, Camden J. Winters and Avery W. Winters; a sister, Beatrice Hanlin of Harrisburg and a brother, Robert Killian, Jr of Carbondale, IL. Professional services are entrusted to Dugan Funeral Home and Crematory, Inc., Shippensburg. A Celebration of Kathryn's life will be held on Saturday August 4 at 1:30 PM at the Orchards, 1580 Orchard Drive, Chambersburg with Reverend Bruce Henneman officiating.
