Kermit S. Stouffer

Kermit S. Stouffer, age 92, of Shippensburg, passed away Saturday, September 23, 2017 at Elmcroft Assisted Living, Shippensburg. He was born Monday, February 9, 1925 in Shippensburg, the son of the late Dave and Sara (Seavers) Stouffer. Kermit was formerly employed by Keen Transport as a truck driver for many years. He also drove for John F. Walters and Daily Express. He was a member of VFW and American Legion of Shippensburg. He served in the US Army Air Corp during WWII. His wife, Edna L. Stouffer passed away in 2012. He is survived by his step-son, Paul E. Decker of Shippensburg, step-granddaughter, Kimberly Sue Decker of Shippensburg and a number of nieces and nephews. He was the last of his siblings. Professional services are entrusted to Dugan Funeral Home and Crematory, Inc., Shippensburg. Funeral Services will be held at 1:00 PM on Friday, September 29 at Dugan Funeral Home and Crematory, 51 Asper Drive, Shippensburg with Jack Wyrick officiating. Burial with military honors will be conducted in Green Hill Cemetery in Waynesboro. A viewing will be held on Thursday from 6:00 to 8:00 PM.
