Kim J. Rice

Kim J. Rice, age 50 of Scottsboro, Alabama, formerly of Bendersville, passed away on Monday, November 11, 2013 as the result of an auto accident. She was born Saturday, November 24, 1962 in Gettysburg, the daughter of Jo F. (Orner) Rice of Carlisle and the late Wallace L. Rice. Kim graduated from Biglerville High School in 1980 where she was head majorette for the marching band. She earned her Associate's Degree in Business from HACC. She was formerly employed by AMP in Harrisburg. She was a member of Bethlehem Lutheran Church in Bendersville. In addition to her mother, she is survived by her brother, Wallace C. Rice of Carlisle. Professional services are being handled by Dugan Funeral Home, Inc., 111 South Main Street, Bendersville. A visitation will be held Sunday, November 24, from 5:00 to 7:00PM at Dugan Funeral Home. Private interment will be in Biglerville Cemetery.
