Larry J. Bobb, age 74 Aspers, passed away on Monday, January 28, 2019 in Lubbock, TX. He was born Monday, January 22, 1945 in Carlisle, PA, the son of the late John Bobb and Mary Maxine (Corman) Bobb. Larry played quarterback at Bermudian High School where he graduated from. He then served in the Army Reserves from 1965-1971 during the Vietnam War. He continued on to work for McCoy electronics and then DMI Furniture Company. Larry retired from J.E. Baker (Magnesita) Company. He was a member of the American Legion, Biglerville and Wenksville United Methodist Church. He is survived by his loving wife of 53 years, June Louise (McCurdy) Cole Bobb of Aspers, two sons, Brian (Tammy) Bobb of West Virginia and Brad Bobb of Aspers, four brothers, Stanley, Michael, Randy and Steven Bobb, three sisters, Linda Green, Patsy Wooten and Debra Stine, five granddaughters, Allison (Matthew) Hutchison, Samantha Bobb, Cortney (Shane) Wilhelm, Jacqualine (Brent) Ethride and Amanda Bobb and nine great-grandchidlren. He was preceded in death by his brother, Terry Bobb, Sr. and sister, Connie Bobb. Professional services are entrusted to Dugan Funeral Home, Inc., 111 South Main Street, Bendersville. Memorial Services will be held at 1:00 PM on Friday, April 26, 2019 at Wenksville United Methodist Church, 2010 Wenksville Road, Biglerville, PA with Pastor Rick Robinson officiating. Interment will be in Wenksville Cemetery.
