Larry E. Warner

Larry E. Warner, age 64 of Shippensburg, passed away Tuesday, March 6, 2018 in Quincy Township. He was born Sunday, January 17, 1954 in Carlisle, a son of the late John Robert and Rosie Mae (Jumper) Warner. Larry’s motto for living was “Treat people right”. He was a firm believer of taking care of those around you. He was always around to help those in need. He was a hard worker in everything he did. When he would take vacations, it usually meant time at the house to take care of projects that he wanted done. He was a true jack of all trades. Larry’s love of his life was his daughter, Courtney. He was her father but also her advisor. He will be loved and remembered as the loving and kind giant that believed in taking care of each other. He is survived by Courtney Spangler (Mark) of Aspers, brother, Rick Warner of Mechanicsburg, sisters, Shirley Cassel and Kay Warner both of Newville. He is also survived by his nieces and nephews, Buck, Mike, Jackie, Kim, Tammy, Josie, Todd, Eric, Tyler and Wade. He was preceded in death by his sisters, Linda Dommel and Patsy Allen. Professional services are entrusted to Dugan Funeral Home and Crematory, Inc., Shippensburg. A Celebration of Life will be held from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM on Friday, March 16 at Dugan Funeral Home and Crematory, Inc., 51 Asper Drive, Shippensburg.
