Laura A. Meyers

Laura A. Meyers, age 95 of Gettysburg, passed away Friday, April 24, 2015 at her son's home. She was born Saturday, March 27, 1920 in Shippensburg, the daughter of the late George S. and Sabina A. (Piper) Nenninger. Laura was formerly employed by Gettysburg Hospital as a unit clerk for many years. Her husband, A. Roy Meyers passed in 1994. She is survived by two daughters, A. Gayle Nye of Shippensburg, Mary A. Decker of Gettysburg, two sons, A. Rick Meyers of Gettysburg, F. Joel Meyers of Provo, UT, one brother, Harold Nenninger of Shippensburg, nine grandchildren and fifteen great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by one sister and two brothers. Professional services are being handled by Dugan Funeral Home, Inc., 111 South Main St., Bendersville. Services will be held at the discretion of the family.
