Laura "Michele" Potts

Laura “Michele” Potts, age 70, passed away Sunday, December 6, 2020 surrounded by her family at her home in Fayetteville. She was born March 20, 1950 in New Orleans, Louisiana. She was the daughter of the late Victor C. and Alice (Trexler) Lupis. Michele graduated from Martinsburg High School in West Virginia. She retired from CrossKeys Village after working as a CNA for over 20 years. She was a member of Mont Alto United Methodist Church. In her spare time, Michele enjoyed crafting, baking and spending time with family. Michele is survived by her loving son, Chris M. Potts and his wife, Doddie of Fayetteville; two sisters, Teresa Marrone and Vickie Beard, both of Martinsburg; three brothers, Victor Lupis and Frank Lupis, both of Martinsburg and Nick Lupis of Florida; four grandchildren, Michael Potts, Joshua Potts, Aubrei and Tyrell Swackhammer; great-granddaughter, Scarlett and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, Raymond A. Potts, Jr., parents and two brothers, Michael Lupis and Tony Lupis. Professional services are entrusted to Dugan Funeral Home and Crematory, Inc., Shippensburg. Memorial Services will be held at the discretion of the family.
