Lee Edward Ritter

Lee Ritter, 74 of Aspers, PA, passed away on Thursday, October 22, 2026, at The Gardens at Gettysburg. He was born February 2, 1952 in Carlisle, PA, the son of the late William Alfred Ritter and Gladys Louise (Myers) Ritter. He married Doris J. (Emlet) Ritter in 1979.

Lee graduated from Bermudian Springs High School. He was employed as a mechanic with the OC Rice Incorporated and had been employed by LB Auto Repair. He was a member of the Ira E. Lady American Legion Post 262. He enjoyed his time fishing, hunting, watching football games and westerns.

Lee is survived by his loving wife Doris J. Ritter, his son Roger Lee Ritter both of Aspers, PA; a brother William Ritter (Evelyn) of Pennsville, NJ; two sisters Joy Morgan of Lakeland, Fl, and Linda Vance (Tony) of Gardners, PA; and a step-sister Donna Starner of Halifax, PA

In addition to his parents, Lee was preceded in death by a step-brother Donald Stoerzinger, Jr.

Services will be private and at the convenience of the family.

Lee’s family extends their heartfelt thanks to The Gardens at Gettysburg for the care given to Lee while he was there.
